Clubs and Socs Officer

Hi! My name is JJ, I’m a first-year chemistry student and I am Clubs and Societies Officer of the JCR. My role is essentially making sure all the clubs and societies in corpus have what they need to function, including a location, equipment and funding, and I help to set up any new societies as well. I also organise Corpus Challenge in Hilary Term, which is a modern Olympic-style event between Corpus Christi College Oxford and Corpus Christi College Cambridge. In Trinity Term, I organise Pimm’s and rounders for people in college as a fun social and team photos so everyone can remember their legendary beginnings in the Corpus sports teams. You’ll probably see me mostly in the JCR; the hot chocolate is great fuel for Chemistry!
