The JCR Committee are here for you, to make your undergraduate life as fun and stress-free as possible. Each officer on the committee has a different job, which is usually fairly self-explanatory from their title (like for example the Accommodation Officer), but more detailed descriptions about what each officer does, and when they are elected can be found in this section.

Each Officer has a set of 'Standing Orders', which are jobs they have to do as part of their role (though they often do other stuff besides these).

Each JCR Committee Officer submits an Officer's Report every week, to tell everyone what they've been getting up to. You'll find those up here very soon.

There are also JCR Officers who don't sit on the committee, which basically means they don't have to turn up to committee meetings and submit Officers Reports every week. Their jobs are just as important, but they are called 'non-committee roles' essentially so they have less needless work to do.
