Applying
Welcome to Corpus! We are one of the smallest, friendliest and quirkiest colleges in Oxford; we hope that the information in the next few pages helps give you a sense of what we have to offer…
(https://lh3 NULL.googleusercontent NULL.com/-0AxKFeGY5po/T-oKceMDdtI/AAAAAAAAAMs/cxmrd-a70Uk/s720/welcome NULL.jpg)With about 70 people in each undergraduate year, we are one of the smallest colleges in Oxford, so you soon get to know everyone in college; people make friends very quickly! There is always something going on, whether it be relaxing in the common room (the JCR) or as part of one of the many clubs and societies both in and outside of college. Corpus has a really supportive, relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, with JCR welfare reps organising events on a regular basis, alongside daily ‘JCR Tea’ at 4pm, something that provides the perfect excuse for a study break!
Food & Accommodation
Corpus provides college-owned accommodation for all three or four years of your undergraduate degree, of which some is on the main college site on Merton St. alongside a number of college owned houses and flats across the city. A typical first year room has a single bed, desk, chairs, wardrobe, book shelves and a sink. Internet access (wired and Wi-Fi) is available freely and there are communal showers, toilets and kitchens. Reasonably priced meals are available from the canteen in Hall three times a day. These are paid for on a pay-as-you-eat basis and on Fridays there is a three course Formal Hall.
