For serious problems, we have fantastic resources. Chief among these is the Tutor for Welfare, Judith Maltby. Dr Maltby was a Proctor, which meant she dealt with all the requests for help with academics across the whole university for a year. So no matter what problem you're facing, she's likely to know how best to approach it. There are loads of different allowances and provisions which can make a difference to your final degree class, so it's really worth making use of her huge expertise! In addition to Dr Maltby, your tutors and the Senior Tutor, Prof Peter Hore, will be a source of advice on how to tackle serious academic problems.
